A martensitic stainless steel pipe can be used as a high-strength pipe to resist corrosion of carbon dioxide gas. It can be used in oil and gas well without hydrogen sulfide but carbon dioxide gas. The price of this high-strength martensitic stainless steel pipe is cheap, because it doesn't need to add large quantities of expensive elements such as Ni and Mo, and also doesn't need to control the content of P to a value less than 0.010% by mass during the manufacturing.
